1958 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Veloce Confortevole: Much Easier To Love Than To Say

In the car world, some cars are given pretty ridiculously long names. There’s the Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce Roadster, or the Lincoln Continental Mark V Landau Four Door Hardtop. Another one of my favorites is the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio. For Alfa Romeo, long and difficult-to-say model names are nothing new, as you can see from this 1958 Giulietta Sprint Veloce Confortevole. You may be stumbling over those words trying to read it in your head, so I’d recommend moving on and just looking at the car, because that is so much easier.

Comfort, Style, and Advanced Performance… What More Could You Ask For?

While all Alfa’s are known for being uniquely lovable and fun, this one is really something else. Let’s start with the comfort factor. This model came with the roll-up windows (as opposed to sliding), which was a big deal for its time. It also has beautiful cushiony red leather seats, with optional rear seats to extend the comfort to two more passengers. The ride in this car is very soft- perfect for cruising. This particular model has been fully restored so it feels just as good as the day it was built (April 3, 1958, to be exact). Now, style. Like all Alfa’s, it looks great.

The Italians can do no wrong when it comes to design, after all, Italy is known for its incredible art. This example has even been completely repainted and had small trim pieces replaced to ensure every bit of its original charm and beauty remains. Now to the performance. This is another field the Italians have really done well in. This car has a 1.4-liter inline four-cylinder. That may not sound super impressive, but it features dual overhead cams, something many 4 cylinders were missing even in the early 2000s. This means it has a smooth and torquey power delivery that goes until nearly 8,000 rpm’s- another feat that many cars today can’t even say.

Whatever tickles your automotive fancy, this car can deliver on. Whether its the charming good looks, the easy and relaxing comfort, or the mechanical ingenuity of this machine that intrigues you, there’s very little not to like. While this 1958 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Veloce Confortevole may be tricky to say, loving it is oh so simple. Buy Here
