The 1967-1968 Mustang Villain Is a Menacing Beauty

When you think American muscle, Mustang’s definitely a name that comes to mind. Mustangs have been immortalized on the screen in many movies from James Bond to The Fast and the Furious franchises. And who could forget that John Wick himself had a treasured 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1? Its theft, along with the killing of his puppy, set into motion his coming out of retirement and rampage. To say the least, Mustang probably has a large presence in car lovers’ dreams. While there’s love for new Mustangs like the 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, there’s no denying that classics always have that special something.

The 1967-68 Mustang fastback is one of the most iconic and collectible muscle cars of the ‘60s. The Mustang was initially only offered as a hardtop and a convertible. It was only in 1964 that the fastback was introduced. Between the models, from the ‘65 fastback to the ‘67, the car was restyled. The roofline of the ‘67-’68 models extended all the way back to the rear taillight panel. The trunk lid was also incorporated into the rear roofline. There was also a rear seat that came standard with the car and the fold down version was an extra cost option.
