The vast majority of the SUV restorations we see these days involve modernizing classics with lots of luxurious upgrades. And that is fine with us! We love seeing a relic brought into present day. We also love luxury, because obvious reasons. But with the restoration of this 1967 Toyota Land Cruiser, the FJ Company went in the opposite direction. They went for authenticity.
When the FJ Company got their hands on this FJ45LB, it was fairly rusted, but it had almost all of its original parts. Not only does this nut and bolt restoration of a 1967 Land Cruiser have an original F engine, it also has an original transmission and everything about it is completely period correct. Not to mention, completely badass.
