Aston Martin is heating things up this summer with the new V8 Vantage. This two-door coupe is the successor to the Vantage that was in production for 12 years. Equipped with a new powertrain and platform, the entry-level sports car has been pegged to be comparable to the Porsche 911. The Vantage is powered by a 503 hp twin-turbo V-8 engine backed by an eight-speed automatic transmission. It boasts a 3.6 seconds 0-60 mph time and a top speed of 195 mph. Aston’s first use of an electronic differential will help stabilize the car if you’re trying to hit those high speeds.
Inside is no small feat either. Strathmore leather and Alcantara upholstery, a black leather-trimmed steering wheel and Satin Silver interior trim give the Vantage that luxurious feel Aston Martin owners are familiar with. You’ll also get automatic temperature control with dual zone climate control as well as front and rear parking sensors. The 8-inch touchscreen lets you navigate with ease and connect via Bluetooth and iPhone integration. Notable add-ons include a Tech pack that adds blind-spot monitoring and an active park-assist system. A Comfort pack will bring 16-way seat adjustment and seat heaters. And of course, you’ll have a nearly limitless selection of paint and trim options available to order. This is the car for you if you’re looking for luxury and speed…and if you happen to have around $150k laying around. Learn More
