The automotive mogul

Jack Roush was an engine development engineer for Ford Motor Company in 1964. He discovered his passion for drag racing and formed his own team in 1970 with Wayne Gapp. Together, they won multiple championships in AHRA, NHRA, and IHRA Pro Stock drag racing over the next five years. Roush founded Roush Performance Engineering in 1976 and began selling his designs in the motorsports industry. There was high demand for his engines and parts for drag, oval-track, and hill-climb racing, as well as offshore power boats. Roush continued to be successful on and off the track. He took a bold leap into the world of NASCAR in 1988 and In 2007, he teamed up with Fenway Sports Group to form Roush Fenway Racing.

Roush Performance was founded in 1995 to bring racing engineering to street cars. Today, the company continues to be celebrated for their high performance parts. Roush provides modifications to Ford vehicles in their Livonia, Michigan factory, including upgrades to suspension, body, interior, and engine. They are known for their Ford Mustang mods, having worked on the American classic since 1995 on a limited-run basis. They also make custom built engines for cars like the Superformance Shelby Daytona Coupe.

Improved for off-road handling

There aren’t any performance upgrades available. The Roush Raptor comes with the standard twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6, which gives you 450hp and 510 pound-feet of torque.
