Packer Shoes and ASICS have teamed up to drop shoes inspired by George Constanza’s infamous Gore-Tex jacket from the “The Dinner Party” Seinfeld episode. Suffice it to say, that is a sentence that I never thought I would be writing in my lifetime. But it’s 2017, so anything is possible. Even an ASICS George Costanza Gore-Tex Shoe.
According to Packer Shoes:
Thanks to a memorable Thursday night in the ‘90s and one of the most infamous winter coats in history, the name GORE-TEX® now has special meaning for many of us. As an homage to all things GORE-TEX®, we’ve partnered with ASICS Tiger brand and New Era for a special collaborative collection that will hopefully shed some light on the age old question: just how cold is #ScaryCold?
So true. All these years later, I’m still quoting George Constanza with disgusting regularity. So why not make a shoe dedicated to the man? And Gore-Tex is pretty great too.
