Nick is the owner and occasional contributor of TheDailyWant.  A resident of Ohio, Nick enjoys lifting, hiking, and spending time with his wife and daughter.  Some of his favorite TDW topics include classic Porsches and anything camping related.

Julie Cai

Julie’s interest in writing and illustration began in elementary school, where she juggled paying attention to class and creating funny newsletters and comics for her teachers and classmates. This disruption of learning continued throughout middle and high school, where she wrote cheesy Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter fan fiction starring her and her squad. Her interest in writing led her to major in News-Editorial Journalism. Today, Julie works in ecommerce and marketing for a large nonprofit. She enjoys running, snoozing her alarms, snacking, and illustrating cutesy characters. She dislikes groups of people who take up the entire sidewalk.


Dillon Davis

As a 20 year old Dillon Davis is one of the younger writers with The Daily Want. Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, he is the middle child in his family of five. Dillon and his brothers grew up playing sports year round, and he carries that love for sports especially close. Through high school and the first two years of college Dillon continued to play baseball. Beyond that he has a wide array of interest, including music, cars, and Motorsports. In his academic life he is currently working on his degree in Early Childhood Education at the University of Cincinnati and plans to teach and coach high school baseball as well as continue writing after he graduates.
