The Autodromo Monoposto Chronograph Takes Inspiration From the Grand Prix

A watch really completes the outfit. Whether you’re sporting a white tee and jeans or a full-on three-piece suit, a watch can really take it to another level. While we all look to our phones for the time nowadays, the watch has become more of an accessory than a necessity.

Watches can be tough on the wallet, so you want to be sure you’re investing in a quality brand. When it comes to watches, Autodromo is fairly new compared to a lot of the classics.

Founded in 2002, the brand captures the spirit of motoring through its unique products, including watches, sunglasses, and accessories. Their designs blend contemporary minimalism with mid-century vintage character.

The limited-edition Autodromo Monoposto Chronograph is the perfect addition to any watch collection. As the brand’s first automatic chronograph, the Monoposto is classic with a hint of boldness.

Inspired by racing with luxury in mind

The Monoposto Chronograph is inspired by the monoposto, the “single-seat” Grand Prix car of days past. There’s a domed sapphire crystal with unique bold redline detail on the face. The redline mirrors the dials of the monoposto’s dash, which marked the upper limits of the engine. The 43mm case and bezel are made of high-polish stainless steel for durability and shine.

There’s also an exhibition caseback with sapphire crystal so you can see every detail of this luxury piece. The polished leather strap with roller buckle is handmade stateside and wraps your wrists in luxury and comfort. The strap measures 20mm wide, which makes for the perfect width for an everyday piece. The watch has Seiko NE88 automatic column-wheel chronograph movement and 34 jewels. It is also water-resistant up to 50 meters/ 5 ATM.

The Monoposto Chronograph is available in a silver dial colorway and is limited to 200 pieces. Each watch is numbered and presented in a beautiful numbered collector’s box for the extra mile in luxury.

The packaging is inspired by the idea of a road trip in Northern Italy in 1960 and also comes with a vintage-inspired map hand stamped with your purchase date. The watch is also available in black but is currently sold out, so don’t miss out on the silver! With all the extra detailing and quality materials, the watch will set you back $1,800. Buy Here
