A Barry Bonds mansion in San Mateo County was just listed on the market for $6.6 million. Baseball’s home run legend was best known for his time with the San Francisco Giants. This Northern California mansion is Mediterranean Style, and luxurious enough for the man who hit 762* home runs.
Northern California is home to some of the most expensive real estate on the planet. Barry Bonds earned an astounding $188.2 MILLION during his career as a baseball player. You’d think with earnings like that he’d be living in the sickest pad in all of Nor-Cal, but you’d be wrong. With Silicon Valley just down the road, Barry Bonds was forced to compete for real estate against billionaires. I’m not trying to take anything away from this $6.6 million Barry Bonds mansion, not at all. I’m merely contextualizing why this house looks so staged in the photographs.
This Barry Bonds mansion measures a sprawling 5,170-square-feet. There are two full kitchens (one indoor and one outdoor). The estate is plopped on a half-acre property in Hillsborough, one of San Mateo’s most desirable locations. There are five bedrooms in the home all of which have incredibly high ceilings. Barry Bonds purchased this home back in 2015 for $6 million, so this appears to be a quick flip.
