There aren’t many shoes more classic than the high top Converse. Likewise, there aren’t many patterns more instantly recognizable than camo. With the mottled green and black “jungle” camo making a return in the last few years, it’s no surprise that the two would eventually come together.
A new collaboration between Converse and Undercover is bringing a graphic camo print to the classic Chuck Taylor. It’s also coming to the low-top model as well.
Born To Be Together
With a single glance, it’s easy to tell that this combination was meant to be together. The classic look of camo on the profile of a shoe that everyone loves is like peanut butter and jelly. Top that off with some special edition accents and you’ve got a shoe that could become an instant classic.
The Converse x Undercover shoe, along with its camo pattern, features metal ring accents as well as lacing on on either side of a central zipper. According to the collection’s website, these additions are “unexpected hardware details that capture raw-edged rebellion.”
The shoe also boasts a rugged-looking outsole that’s a nice departure from the bleach-white that’s usually found on Converse sneakers. Finally, this special edition collaboration features an embroidered “NW” patch that pays homage to “The New Warriors” design seen on a few other Converse models.
Sometimes when a cool new shoe collab is announced, fans have to wait for months to get their hands on a pair. Fortunately, that isn’t the case with this one.
The Converse x Undercover (both high and low-tops) are available now after releasing on November 14. Not only will they be the hottest shoes on the block, but you’ll also be the only one wearing them–at least for a while. Although, with that sick camo pattern, people might be wondering where your feet went.
All jokes aside, this is a pair of shoes that you don’t want to miss out on. Get them soon before they disappear for good. You never know how long special collections like this will stick around. Buy Here
