Ducati is known for making some of the best (and fastest) motorcycles in the world. That reputation is something it upholds with each new bike it produces. Of course, sometimes you don’t have to start from scratch.
That’s the mindset Ducati had when upgrading its twin-cylinder Panigale, which has been given a thorough makeover and been renamed to the Panigale V2. This bike features a fresh new design, sophisticated electronics, and is perfect for riding on the road and the racetrack.
Back Stronger Than Before
The original Panigale was already a great bike. The Panigale V2 is even better. Its new design features clean lines that convey power at every angle. It also retains the classic Ducati superbike flair.
The bike comes in the traditional Ducati Red color and is paired with striking black accents that provide sharp contrast.
In terms of performance, the Panigale V2 won’t disappoint. Its 955 cc twin cylinder Superquadro engine has a maximum horsepower of 155 at 10,750 rpm. It delivers a torque of 104 Nm at 9,000 rpm. Those stats mean it offers smooth, powerful performance on the road and forceful precision on the track. The redesigned bike also features a compact exhaust silencer that’s routed entirely underneath the engine to help manage noise spikes.
Redesigned For Modern Riders
The Panigale V2 features upgrades in several areas. However, some of the most notable are to its ergonomics and electronics. A new seat helps improve rider comfort thanks to more room for longitudinal movement and upgraded foam.
Its electronics are based on a 6-axis inertial platform that instantly detects the bike’s roll, yaw, and pitch angles. The new package offers better safety and control. Unsurprisingly, the Panigale V2’s controls are bundled into three riding modes (Race, Sport, and Street).
