Nothing like seeing an $85 million Great Gatsby mansion to remind you that, by comparison, you’re dirt poor. But you know what? I don’t even want this waterfront estate that has an indoor lazy river, a two-story dollhouse, an immaculate tennis court and fountains modeled off of the Peterhof Palace. Nope. I can do without it. And I can certainly do without the 14,551 square-foot, 18-bedroom, 25 bathroom castle that is surrounded by 7.7 acres of gated land and is on Long Island’s Kings Point, the town that is apparently F. Scott Fitzgerald’s inspiration for the town of West Egg in The Great Gatsby.
Yeah, I don’t need this. Hell, I don’t even want it — it’s too much house for me — but that doesn’t mean it isn’t sexy as hell.
