This 1999 Harley-Davidson military-inspired motorcycle is truly a rare gem. There are said to be less than 500 of these green beasts ever produced, so if you want to own one this is your chance. According to Bonhams, Harley-Davidson has been very tightlipped about their MT project, but with under 500 produced, it is believed that it is one of the rarest Harley-Davidson models ever.
The MTs were produced between 1993-2000. This 1999 model comes equipped with plastic gun case and front-mounted ammo panniers. It also features a 500cc 4-valve Rotax engine that reaches a top speed of 90 mph. And according to the auction listing, this particular bike “was uncrated by a previous owner and has remained unridden in the Carter Collection’s care, showing 0 miles on its odometer.”
If you’re seriously interested in owning this piece of American history, YOU CAN! On Thursday, January 26th at 11:00 am a live auction will be held in Las Vegas, NV.
