Kelly Slater is the greatest competitive surfer the world has ever known. He has been crowned champion of the World Surf League a record 11 times over 3 decades. The second best to Kelly has been Mark Richards who was crowned champion 4 times.

Along the way, Kelly Slater’s earned $3.5 million in winnings and he has made an absolute fortune in endorsements. Kelly’s had his own video games. Slater’s released two autobiography books, starred in reality shows, Baywatch, and performed with bands. He is the undisputed King of Surfing and has been for decades.

Oahu’s North Shore isn’t home to just the best surfing in Hawaii or America, it’s arguably the best surf break in the world. Kelly Slater was raised Cocoa Beach, Floria but his favorite surf break is the North Shore.

To be closer to the best waves in the world Kelly Slater just spend $7.8 million on a North Shore mansion. The house is built like a fortress to withstand all of the ocean’s fury. It measures 8,000 square feet and boasts 100 feet of private oceanfront.

Nestled within Oahu’s ‘Seven Mile Miracle’, this house is truly a gem. It stays true to Hawaiian and Southern Pacific design elements. Extra tall ceilings, enormous windows, and a luxurious pool accent the property.

There are three buildings on the property and all face the pool and luscious gardens. I’m no expert in Hawaiian real estate but I’d say this house is 100% worth the $7.8 million price tag. It appears as if the sellers were also Kelly Slater fans. They turned down 10 offers before accepting Slater’s offer on the home.
