I’ve always wanted to own a Hummer H1. Hell, I even wanted to own the H2 when it first came out. The H3, not so much. But the H1 and H2, I wanted them. Even though they guzzled an ocean’s worth of gas, I always had a soft stop in my heart for them. But that gas bill kind of made them extinct. Now, that problem is solved with the Kreisel electric Hummer H1. It is all-electric, too.
Kreisel recently unveiled the electric H1 with the help of Arnold Schwarzenegger and although it won’t be winning any speed races, it is still a bad ass machine. In fact, it only took Kreisel Electric two months to develop an off-road prototype of the electric H1. The result is a rugged SUV equipped with high-performance batteries from Kreisel Electric featuring a 100 kWh capacity and two electric motors on the front and back axles, with a system output of 360 kW (483 hp). The vehicle can reach speeds of up to 120 km/h (75 mph) and has a range of about 300 kilometers and a total weight of 3,300 kg.
For now, it doesn’t look like this concept will go to market. But hopefully Kreisel considers one-off orders, because although this only goes 75 mph I still want it.
