Yes, that headline is a poor attempt at a condom joke. I am a child. But be that as it may, the fact that I’m an idiot doesn’t mean this Land Rover Defender 110 “Trojan” restoration isn’t manly as all hell.
The Trojan is a Santorini Black 110 station wagon that makes you scratch your head as to why Land Rover stopped making the Defender. This particular restoration was done by Arkonik and according to the company, the Trojan is “fueled by a 2.5L turbo diesel engine and boasting Kahn 1983 wheels… an interior displaying diamond black XS Modular front row seats, 2 high back second row seats, bench seats in the load area, a premium Alpine sound system with Apple Car Play, an Elite lock box and an Evander Rim 15″ steering wheel.”
Seriously, though, why doesn’t Land Rover bring back the Defender 110 and 90? I bet it would give the Mercedes-Benz G-Class a run for its money. Heck, I bet the Defender 90 would give Jeep Wrangler a run for their money, too. That is, provided that Land Rover didn’t try to sell them for over $100,000 each.

I love this SUV. Compliments to the chef! Or whatever it is that you call a person who restores cars.
