The Maximus 1000 Gladiator is a Jeep on Steroids

Hennessey has been in the business of taking cars and making them faster and more exciting for quite some time now. The usual Hennessey modified car is a muscle car or sports car given a massive bump in power, however, after toying with the Ford Raptor a while ago Hennessey has acquired a taste for off-road machines. They have taken a Jeep Gladiator- a very cool off-roader already; and done it up in true Hennessey fashion.

From Jeep Gladiator to Hennessey Maximus

Hennessey took a 2020 Gladiator Jeep truck and made it an absolute monster. The most notable piece of treatment this truck has received is the supercharged V8 from a hellcat. This grumbling eight-cylinder beast makes a whopping 1,000 horsepower. The power is sent to all four wheels through an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The list of modifications to this Jeep doesn’t end with power either. The list continues into the handling aspects of the car as well. The wheels of this Jeep are 20-inch wheels produced by Hennessey themselves.

The wheels are wrapped in 20 inch BFG KD Off-Road tires. While this is all very good I can promise when you put your foot to the floor, there is no stopping the wheels from spinning.  The suspension has also been upgraded and lifted 6 inches to make this Gladiator even more capable off-road. All this comes with some custom exterior pieces including the front and rear bumpers, and (best of all) a 3 year/36,000 mile warranty! That’s right, this 1,000 horsepower off-roading super truck has a warranty.

The Jeep Gladiator is a cool truck on its own. However, Hennessey isn’t interested in how cool Jeep has made it. They took this truck and turned it into a monster truck for the streets. I don’t know if this would be more suited in my dreams or my nightmares, but one thing’s for sure. The Hennessey built Maximus 1000 Gladiator is the craziest, coolest truck I’ve ever seen.
