Mel Gibson’s Costa Rica mansion has just been listed by Christie’s International Real Estate for $29,750,000. The 11-bedroom Costa Rica mansion is located in Nicoya, Guanacaste. If you aren’t familiar with Costa Rica, the house is in an area full of luscious rain forest. There are multiple species of monkeys that inhabit the area, as well as macaws.
Costa Rica is rated as one of the happiest countries on the planet, and it’s easy to see why. Mel Gibson’s Costa Rica mansion is situated on 403 acres of privately owned jungle. There are three homes located throughout the property, each with a view of the Pacific Ocean. Each of the three residences features multiple bedrooms, but the main estate is unlike any other.
Collectively, the 403 acres is known as Playa Barrigona. The flagship structure on Playa Barrigona is Mel Gibson’s mansion. The mansion features Italian and Spanish tiles and Costa Rican wood throughout. There’s an absolutely stunning private pool. The main house, Casa Guanacaste, has 7 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms just steps from white sand beaches. The beach is so remote that olive ridley sea turtles nest and lay eggs each year there. As far as Costa Rica real estate goes, there’s nothing finer than this.
