The first ever motor yacht from Mercedes-Benz has been dubbed the “Silver Arrow of the Seas” by its creators. That nickname is an homage to the manufacturer’s 1930s grand prix race cars that inspired its design. And much like Mercedes-Benz cars, the Arrow460-Granturismo yacht was made to represent “luxury, style and pleasure.” At just over 46 feet long, the Arrow 460 Granturismo seems to accomplish that objective quite nicely. The yacht packs a 960 hp which comes from a pair of Yanmar diesel engines developing 480 horsepower each. The interior features sleeping quarters, bathroom and a windowed sitting area where passengers can comfortably enjoy the ride and the view.
When Mercedes-Benz says that the Arrow460-Granturismo yacht “combines the performance of Mercedes-Benz sports cars with unique innovations from the boat industry” they’re not lying. And its price tag will confirm that claim.
Price: $1.7 million
