Porsche has unveiled thew new Panamera E-Hybrid, and this car has just vaulted itself into the mix of electric cars that are changing the world. For the all-new Panamera E-Hybrid, Porsche has used technology from their 918.
The four-door Panamera hybrid is pumping out an astronomical 680 hp from a turbocharged V8 combined with an electric motor. This isn’t a fully electric vehicle, as the name hybrid implies. But this is definitely a step in the right direction towards being more ‘green’ for luxury car buyers.
The new Panamera Hybrid has a 0-to-60 time of 3.4 seconds with Porsche’s Sport Chrono, making it one of the fastest vehicles on the planet:
The new Porsche Panamera E-Hybrid features a top speed of 190 mph. Thinking back just a few years to when hybrid vehicles first began to hit the market it’s almost unfathomable for me to now think that electric hybrids are this fast. Porsche has truly raised the bar with the new Panamera E-Hybrid, and I wouldn’t be at all shocked to see this vehicle become their flagship car within the next several years.
