Former Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III earned over $28 million in salary in the NFL. He also made a fortune in endorsements. Now that RG3’s days at QB in Washington are over he’s looking to sell his Leesburg, VA farmhouse.
This Washington D.C.-area farmhouse is shockingly luxurious and tasteful. Not at all what you’d expect a young NFL player to purchase after signing his first contract for millions. Robert Griffin III initially rented out the home with the current tenant signing a lease through 2022. However, it appears as if RG3 has had a change of heart and is now looking to sell his farmhouse for several million dollars. As far as celebrity real estate goes, I’m not sure I’ve seen any homes more classy than this one.
The 4-bedroom home sits cozily on three acres in the Virginia countryside. The home features a formal dining room, an open kitchen, bar, and one of the craziest shoe closets ever. I had no idea that Rober Griffin III was such a hypebeast until today. Photos of this $2.7 million farmhouse on Realtor.com show RG3’s insane sneaker collection. The L.A. Times reports that the home has an underground stone wine cellar. There is also a theater room to accompany the wet bar. Outdoors you’ll find a custom pool and spa. All of the modern amenities one would expect to see in a millionaire NFL player’s home:
