New TaylorMade M6 Driver Gives You The Maximum Legal Speed

Ladies and gentlemen, we have a major advance in golf club technology. Guess who is behind it. That’s right, it’s TaylorMade. What else would you expect from one of the top names in all of golf? This time they are bringing computer algorithms and individual manufacturing into the equation to give you the highest quality driver on the market. The new M6 is engineered to have the maximum ball speed legally allowed for the sport.

Old Ways Vs. New

Before this, club manufacturers were forced to leave a margin of error in their process to ensure that no driver went over the legal limit for speed. However, this means that some clubs come off the line just under the limit while others lag up to 2 full mph behind. This difference, though seemingly small, is actually quite significant.

Now, TaylorMade is changing the game with an all-new process. They measure the specifications of the face of each club as it comes off the assembly line. Then, they consult a specialized computer algorithm in the cloud to determine how much resin to inject to put the club just under the legal limit for ball speed. They inject resin into two pockets behind red screws in the face that stiffens it precisely to ensure speed is the maximum allowed.

More Forgiving For Us Amateurs

Unless you’re a professional, it is highly unlikely that you strike the ball exactly in the center of your driver’s face on each swing. That’s what we thought. With the M6 that isn’t a problem. It boasts a longer and straighter face, dubbed by the company as “Twist Face” that reduces sidespin and delivers straighter shots on off-center hits. This is a really great feature for those who struggle to center the face on the ball.

The M6 driver also features an all-carbon sole that allows 46g of mass low and back in the driver. This increases MOI and gives the club a lower center of gravity. Underneath, the Inertia Generator gives you more forgiveness with a higher launch and lower spin on your sing.

If you really want to get technical, turn to the Inverse T-Track. This features two 10g movable weights that can be positioned to increase MOI. It also lets you dial in your optimal launch conditions, both high-to-low and left-to-right, for those with bias in their natural swing.

Aerodynamic Performance

TaylorMade fans may remember that the upgraded M4 model wasn’t the most aerodynamic of drivers. However, that issue has been addressed and is no longer a problem in the M6. The new version features a highly aerodynamic head and sole that allows you to speed up your swing with less drag. You’ll hardly feel resistance as you swing this club.

For anyone looking for a leg-up on the competition, look no further than the TaylorMade M6. Whether you’re an amateur looking to win over buddies on the weekend or a semi-pro looking to compete at a higher level, this driver features unrivaled performance. Never play the club lottery again. With the M6 you know that you are getting the best possible driver speed. Learn More
