When Jordan Spieth started the year still wearing the Under Armour Drive One’s, I was wondering if he was ever going to make a change to another UA golf shoe. Well, we found out that answer yesterday when Spieth went to Tokyo, Japan to help Under Armour unveil the Spieth One golf shoes, his first signature golf shoe.
According to Under Armour, The Spieth One golf shoes are engineered “Down to a Science.” This catch phrase is meant as a nod to the concentrated level of detail by which the shoe was designed and how it mirrors Jordan’s precise approach to his game on the course.
- Waterproof: The Spieth One has a breathable, waterproof upper to prevent water from entering the shoe, but allowing perspiration to escape.
- Rotational Resistance Traction: The shoe features Rotational Resistance Traction, which prevents the rotation of the foot during the swing from load up to impact.
- One-seam upper: The upper of the Spieth One is composed with a single seam, which reduces layers and weight.
- Dual durometer outsole: The outsole of the Spieth One has a softer forefoot for flexibility, paired with a firm heel for stability and support.

So what do you think? For me, I am still partial to the design of the Drive One. However, I can see myself buying these if they add some colorways that suit me.
